How do I join?

If you're a parent or expectant parent of twins, triplets, or higher-order multiples, you’re eligible to join! Simply sign up through our website. Check out the Membership page and join today! 

How much does membership cost, and what do my dues cover?

Annual membership dues are $35 per family, covering the year from August 1st to July 31st. If you join mid-year, you’ll qualify for reduced dues.

Your dues help cover the club's operational costs, including events, philanthropic support, and membership in Multiples of Illinois and Multiples of America, which provide insurance and non-profit status for the club.

Where and when does the club meet?

We hold monthly meetups at various locations across DuPage County. Additionally, we host family events, casual gatherings, and special outings in parks, community centers, or members' homes.

Can I join if I don’t live in DuPage County?

Yes! While our events are primarily held in Downers Grove, Naperville, and Wheaton, we welcome families from DuPage County and the surrounding areas. Our members hail from communities like Aurora, Naperville, Bolingbrook, and more.

What are the ages of children in the club?

Parents often join while expecting and typically stay involved through their children’s school years and beyond. We have families with kids ranging from newborns to college-aged twins—perfect for finding babysitters within the community!

How long has DuPage Doubles been around?

Founded in 1979 by Patti Roberts, DuPage Doubles is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and part of Multiples of Illinois and Multiples of America.

How many members does the club have?

We have over 150 families, and we’re growing every day!

What topics are covered at the monthly meetups?

Our meetups cover a wide range of topics, such as:

• School readiness
• Picky eaters
• Meal planning
• Twins panels
• Resale information
  We also host guest speakers including pediatricians, nutritionists, child safety experts, and more. We aim to address topics that appeal to parents at every stage of raising multiples.

What happens in the online groups?

Our online discussions cover everyday parenting challenges, like:

• Breastfeeding and sleep training
• Potty training
• Traveling with multiples
• Choosing schools
  We also share humor, advice, and activity ideas in a supportive, understanding environment.

Can I buy and sell baby gear and clothes through DuPage Doubles?

Yes! We host two public resales each year, in the fall and spring. Members can sell outgrown items and find great deals on clothing and gear. This is also our largest fundraiser.

Additionally, our online classifieds section allows members to buy and sell items year-round, except during the month leading up to and following our resales.
