During our annual Member Appreciation Banquet in July 2019, we voted on the next family we would be able to help through our philanthropic efforts. We are pleased to announce that we will be working during the 2019-2020 membership year to help one of our very own club member families: Silver and Onyinye N., and their toddler son and new quadruplets (3 girls + 1 boy). Living in Woodridge, Silver and her husband are originally from Nigeria and have lived here since 2017 and 2009, respectively.
Silver amazingly carried the babies to 34 weeks and all weighed between three and four pounds. The family considers themselves blessed and grateful to have made it this far, but money is tight and exhaustion is setting in. There is no doubt that it takes a village to raise a child and no one understands that better than DuPage Doubles. As parents of multiples we have relied on each other for a variety of supports. This year we have an opportunity to help this family through our philanthropic efforts. Donations have already started coming in and have been greatly appreciated. Silver has received diapers, wipes, strollers, gift cards and meals. Help in the form of babysitting and playing with their toddler son are on their way too. This is an overwhelming time for the family and our support will make a big difference.
Funds contributed through this page will go directly to helping Silver and her family. Thank you for your assistance!
